powerCDM404 · Cash deposit infrastructure

Cash deposit infrastructure for banks, branches and cash-intensive customers.

A high-speed, cardless bulk cash deposit platform that counts up to 800 notes per minute, validates every note, captures denomination-level data and the serial number of each banknote, and posts accepted value into the bank’s core banking system in the same session.

The channel

Cash accepted at the edge, credited at the core.

powerCDM404 moves cash deposits away from the teller counter and into a controlled self-service channel — reducing counter pressure, extending deposit availability, improving cash visibility and giving banks a scalable way to serve high-volume cash customers.

01
Accept

The customer places a cash bundle into the hopper. Mixed denominations and supported currencies can be accepted at up to 800 notes per minute.

02
Validate

Every note is checked for authenticity, denomination and fitness. The system also captures banknote serial numbers where enabled, creating a stronger audit trail for every transaction.

03
Credit

Accepted value is posted to the bank’s core banking system in the same session, with a receipt and denomination-level transaction record generated immediately.

Deployment models

One platform. Three deployment models.

All three variants sit within the same powerCDM404 family. The note handling, software, monitoring, reconciliation and operating platform remain consistent. What changes is where the machine is deployed, how it is serviced, and who controls cash access.

Integration

Posts into the core you already run.

Accepted value is posted to the bank’s core banking system using existing transaction formats and reconciliation flows. Open APIs allow the bank or a fintech partner to extend the terminal to bill payment, tax payment, agent float, merchant collection and other services.

Retail, corporate, loop and third-party cardless deposits, virtual accounts, merchant collections and agent float top-ups, each with configurable limit rules.
Load balancing across multiple machines at a single branch, so one terminal does not carry the queue.
Custom CIT workflows, approval mechanisms, notification rules and reconciliation processes built to the bank’s operating policy.

Beyond deposits

A deposit machine, and a payments terminal.

The same terminal interfaces to third-party service providers, so a customer who came to bank cash can settle a bill, buy float or pay a tax assessment in the same visit. Services are enabled per site and per customer segment, each posting through the bank's own rails, and new ones are added remotely through the service interface layer rather than by changing the machine.

Bill payments

Utilities, telco, insurance and school fees against a biller directory.

Tax and government

Revenue authority assessments, duties, levies and licence fees.

Agent float top-up

Mobile money and super-agency float purchase, validated on agent number.

Merchant collections

Collection accounts and virtual accounts credited on deposit.

Loan and card repayment

Cash repayment posted straight to the facility, same session.

Any other service

Built to the provider's API — statement printing, account opening and video banking included.

On-screen deposit flow

Cardless, teller-less, built for first-time users.

Four steps from welcome to receipt. The interface is white-label — the bank's logo, colours, languages and workflow rules — and every screen states what the machine is doing in the customer's own words. The sequence below plays through in real time.

Multi-language. English, French, Arabic, Portuguese and Swahili run off one build, right-to-left included, with buttons sized to content.
Cardless account entry. Third-party and self deposits, virtual accounts, agent float and bill payment on the same terminal.
Denomination tally. The customer sees the count before confirming, and the receipt prints the breakdown.
Buffered on loss of link. Transactions hold locally and post on reconnection rather than failing.

Managed operations

Every machine is connected to the 4POWER OSS/BSS control platform.

powerCDM404 is not deployed as a standalone terminal. Every unit is connected to 4POWER's OSS/BSS platform, giving banks centralised visibility, control and operational governance across the full CDM estate — in every market the bank operates.

From device health and cash levels to transaction exceptions, reconciliation alerts, SLA tracking and remote configuration, the platform turns every deployed machine into part of a managed, monitored and accountable cash deposit network.
